The firm operates in both India and the UAE, with foreign desks and international affiliations supporting cross-border work for SMEs and larger corporations.
What we were doing
Local search and social media for a multidisciplinary firm that has to be findable in two countries with different search behaviour and different competitive sets.
Two markets, handled separately
India and the UAE are not one audience. Search volumes, the terms people use and the regulatory questions they ask all differ. Treating them as a single market means ranking properly in neither.
Search for cross-border intent
The distinctive enquiries here come from businesses expanding between the two countries — structuring, compliance, entity setup. Those searches are low volume and high value, and are usually missed by firms optimising for generic service terms.
Social for a professional audience
Regulatory change is genuinely useful content for this audience, and there is a steady supply of it. Social was built around that rather than around firm announcements.
