Who they are
Othisis Medtech builds an ambient AI medical scribe — software that listens to a patient visit and produces structured clinical documentation, including SOAP notes, summaries and referral letters, with each element traceable back to the original transcript.
Their positioning is deliberately narrow: administrative support for clinicians rather than clinical decision-making, with an explicit rejection of black-box AI.
What we were doing
Organic search — on-page, off-page and technical — alongside social media advertising and Google Ads, for a software product sold to clinicians and medical practices in the United States, where the audience is technically literate, sceptical by training, and operating under HIPAA.
On-page structure that matches how clinicians actually evaluate software
Buyers in this category search by problem ("reduce documentation time"), by comparison, and by compliance question. Those are three different intents needing three different kinds of page, and the comparison and compliance searches are where the buying decisions get made.
Off-page authority from health-tech, not general tech
A link from a health IT publication or a HIMSS-adjacent directory carries more weight here than one from a generic SaaS blog. Outreach stayed inside the sector this audience actually reads.
Technical trust signals for a sceptical audience
Clinicians evaluating software under HIPAA notice slow pages, broken forms and vague security claims fast. Technical SEO here doubled as a trust exercise, not just a ranking one.
Careful claim language
Healthcare software marketing sits close to regulated territory. Copy had to stay on the right side of the line between describing what the product does and implying a clinical outcome — a constraint that shaped the search and social work as much as the writing.
Paid search and social on narrow, high-intent terms
A small, specific audience makes broad targeting expensive and useless. Google Ads and social advertising both stayed tight to genuine evaluation intent — clinicians and practice administrators — rather than chasing volume.
Services on this project
- On-Page SEO — Most sites we look at lose more traffic to fixable on-page problems than to any competitor.
- Off-Page SEO — If we would not be happy to be seen on it, we do not build a link on it.
- Technical SEO — You can write the best page on the internet and still lose if a phone cannot load it before someone gives up.
- Social Media Ads — Reach is a diagnostic, not a result. We optimise for cost per enquiry.
- Google Ads — Management fee separate from ad spend. You own the account. Always.
- Healthcare & Hospitals — how we approach this sector
We publish no performance figures we cannot evidence and have not been given permission to share — see why that is.
Send us your URL. We’ll tell you what we’d fix.
Tell us what you sell and who you’re up against. We’ll come back with what we think is costing you the most traffic, what fixing it involves and what it’s likely to cost — before you commit to anything.
